Diagnostic & Therapeutic Procedures
Upper Endoscopy
An upper endoscopy allows us to visualize the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum to diagnose conditions such as acid reflux, ulcers, celiac disease, swallowing problems, and upper GI bleeding. This minimally invasive procedure provides clear answers for ongoing digestive symptoms.
Acid Reflux/ Astroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment for chronic heartburn, regurgitation, and esophageal irritation.
Gastrointestinal Bleeding
Rapid evaluation of both acute and chronic GI bleeding to identify the cause and determine the best treatment plan. Procedures such as endoscopy or colonoscopy may be used as needed.
Colonoscopy
A colonoscopy is the most important tool for colorectal cancer screening and early detection of polyps, bleeding, inflammation, and other lower GI issues. We perform colonoscopies with a focus on comfort, safety, and prevention, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely results.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Diagnosis and management of IBS, including symptoms like abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea. Treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s needs and lifestyle.
Hemorrhoids
Diagnosis and treatment of internal and external hemorrhoids, offering relief from pain, bleeding, itching, and discomfort.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Expert long-term management of IBD, including flare control, medication guidance, and monitoring of disease progression to support long-term digestive wellness.
Abdominal Pain & Digestive Disorders
Assessment and treatment for a wide range of digestive symptoms, including nausea, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, and unexplained abdominal pain.
Video Capsule Endoscopy
A video capsule endoscopy is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure where you swallow a tiny, vitamin-sized camera to take thousands of pictures of your small intestine. This study allows doctors to detect areas of inflammation, sites of bleeding and tumors. This is particularly useful for examining areas of the digestive tract that are not reachable with an endoscope or colonoscope.
Rubber Band Ligation of Hemmorhoids
Rubber band ligation (RBL) is a minimally invasive, in-office procedure used to treat symptomatic internal hemorrhoids by placing a small, tight rubber band around the base of the vein. This band cuts off the blood supply to the hemorrhoid, causing it to shrink, wither and fall off on its own within a few days. It is a highly effective, generally painless, and low-risk method for managing hemorrhoids, allowing patients to return to their daily activities almost immediately.
Colorectal Cancer Screening
A colonoscopy is the most important tool for colorectal cancer screening and early detection of polyps, bleeding, inflammation, and other lower GI issues. We perform colonoscopies with a focus on comfort, safety, and prevention, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely results.
